pours a nice, slightly hazy medium amber tone yielding two fingers of frothy, off-white head; decent retention and lacing.

sweet, malty aroma with notes of spice, some breadiness, and toffee pull through in the flavor and are flanked by hints of hops and yeast; makes for a nice, tasty balance. one of the better oktoberfests i've sampled.

medium-bodied, somewhat creamy mouthfeel and average carbonation; IMO the kind of beer that is very enjoyable for a strict run of one or two glasses, then experiences a steep drop-off.
