Had on-tap at the Fountainhead in Chicago. I dig the glass it comes in with the little castle at the base of the stem! Beautiful deep red with a weak head but a nice burnt sugar/cherry nose. The taste is really well balanced--you can appreciate the bitter brown ale beneath, but the sweet cherry holds center stage. Slightly sugary mouthfeel but well-carbonated, and I found that it got a wee bit medicinal as I neared the end of the glass.

I think I would give a slight edge to New Belgium's Frambozen taste-wise because that's more tart, while this is more sweet, but this is still one of my favorite beer styles and I would have again.
