Poured into a standard pint glass. The beer is a perfect amber-caramel color. AN off-white head sits on top for a bit until it dissipates to a thin film. Light sticky lacing is evident. The beer smells slightly sweet, of faint malty caramel. The taste is of toastedbready malts and sweet caramel. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and very drinkable.



Overall, this is just a really good marzen, and very sessionable. I'm surprised it doesn't get better ratings. There's nothing wrong with this, and I'll choose it over the other boring, predictable seasonals any day.
